Lordy Lordy, JB is 40!!

I had a surprise 40th birthday party for John Bret a few weeks ago.  I had to do it nearly a month in advance so he wouldn't catch on.  I can honestly say that he did not have a clue and was very surprised!  We had a great time with family and friends.  I hear 40 is the new 20 (or at least that's what I'm telling myself!!)

The Best Part of Me

I took these photos back in October and realized that I never really went through them.  They were taken after their Christmas card photo shoot and you can tell that they were both ready to go home.  I still think they're beautiful!! I went up and asked the man who has a workshop on the property if he minded if I took some pictures.  I think he thought I was crazy!!

It's been a while since I've posted, but I wanted to put out some of the photos from Christmas and a few from the past weekend.  We had a great Christmas and it pains me to see John Parker and Avery growing up so fast.  I'm glad to have time to enjoy their laughter and sweetness.  Here's to hoping that everyone has a Happy, Shiny New Year full of promise and hope!!
