Mac & Cheese Pleazzzz.....

I came in the kitchen yesterday to check on Avery and this is what I found.....asleep in her mac & cheese.....

Slipping and Sliding!!

Aunt Kerry (my sister) gave John Parker a Superman slip-n-slide for his b-day. He loves it. Avery isn't real sure about the slipping and sliding, but she likes to play in the pool. There haven't been any collisions yet!

Supper Club

For about 3 years now, we've been getting together with some friends (5 couples) once a month to eat and have fun. It's nice to get together with friends and hard to do these days with everybody's busy schedules. When we started, John Parker was the only child in the group. Now, there are 7!! (Ford and baby Ryleigh aren't in this pic)......

PJ Day

Today was PJ day at school. John Parker was sooo excited about his new Spiderman pj's. He put them on at 5:30 this morning. He also brought M&M ice cream sandwiches for their afternoon snack. He just loves being the center of attention.....Don't know where he gets that from?? Of course Avery (aka Linus) had to get in the photo too. Lately, she has become really attached to her "blankie". It's the one she came home with from the hospital.

Slick

Okay...Back in June, I came back from walking to find Avery sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor with the Vaseline. Although we first thought it was hilarious, after washing her hair at least 50 times over 5 days with every home remedy I could find over the internet I was in tears. I tried cornstarch, dishwashing liquid, rubbing alcohol and baby oil.....It FINALLY came out. She had the shiniest hair on the block!!

Furry Babies

These are our 2 furry babies--Eli and Drake. Drake (the black Lab) was one of my wedding gifts to John Bret. I can't believe he'll be 8 years old next month. Eli (the crazy Boxer) was a Christmas gift for John Parker 3 years ago.

Love Me Some Mannings!!

Okay...I have to admit that I have a big time crush on Eli Manning (as you can see indicated by my big toothy grin!!) Is he too cute or what??

Dancing Queen

All-Star

Well, John Parker finished t-ball back in June but is still talking about it. Here I thought he was going to be just like his daddy--hunting and fishing (constantly) ha! But it looks like there may be hope for my sports star yet!! I asked him yesterday about playing football and he said, "I don't know Mama. It looks like too much work!"

Welcome

Ok, I am new to this but we'll give it a try!! I enjoy reading other peoples' blogs so decided to start one of our own. Of course most of the posts will center around the most important parts of our life--John Parker (5) and Avery (2). John Parker starts school in a couple of weeks and is so excited. Although currently, going to Disney World tops his list. Hopefully if I can figure this whole blog thing out, I'll post pics soon!!
