Happy 8th Anniversary!!

Hard to believe that John Bret and I have been married 8 years today. It's gone by fast....Guess time flies when you're having fun. Thank you John Bret for being such a wonderful husband and father. I thank God every day for you and our two beautiful babies. I consider myself very lucky. And of course, I know you do too....Who could ask for a better wife??? (Don't answer that question) hahaha

JB has been asking for over a month now for me to include a photo of his prize buck deer. Well, here it is. Happy Anniversary. Take a good, long look at it--because I'm gonna get an even better one this year!!!

GO REBS GO!!!!

Well, am I proud of the Rebels or what?? It was a great weekend for Ole Miss. I was watching "Meet the Press" Sunday morning (big, big fan) and Tom Brokaw said that Ole Miss was the clear winner of the presidential debate on Friday as it was so well planned and went off without a hitch, and then he went on to say that the Rebels then went on to knock off #4 Florida!! WOW!! Who could ask for more in a weekend? It's great to see Mississippi do well and be recognized for it nationally. Go Rebs Go.........

Donny & Marie

Saturday mornings around our house involve lots of dancing. John Parker and Avery (and myself!!) love to watch country music videos and dance. Here they are busting some moves to Keith Urban.

MSE Fall Festival

We went to the Fall Festival at Madison Station (John Parker's school) Friday night. They had space jumps, games for the kids, face painting and a cake walk. John Parker was upset because he thought he'd get to take home the cake I baked...ha. Avery loved the DJ the best (see video of her dancing to Mustang Sally). We all had a great time!

Box Turtle

John Bret found a box turtle near the deer camp and brought it home for John Parker. He thought it was the coolest thing and begged me and Avery to come outside and look at it. My mom told him how my grandfather used to tell the story that if the turtle bit your finger it wouldn't let go until it thundered. I remembered him saying that too......

Big GURL Bed

My parents came over yesterday for a Labor Day cookout and John Bret and my Dad set-up Avery's new big gurl bed. My sweet Dad made it (as his first retirement project). It is absolutely beautiful and Av thinks she is something else. She slept all night and didn't try to get up once!! Thanks Dad!!!

MSU Game (Go Rebs!!)

We went over to Joel and Amy Deer's house on Saturday night to watch the MSU Bulldogs battle La Tech. I of course was the lone Ole Miss fan and tried to keep my happiness contained over the Rebs win... (Hotty Toddy). The kids had a great time and you'll notice that there was ONE Ole Miss cookie on the dessert tray--which of course I had to get a pic. Ah, the sweet taste of victory!!!!!
