Oh No!!!

This morning I walked into the kitchen and caught John Parker folding up a piece of paper and sticking it in his backpack. When I asked what it was, he said "nothing", but then pulled it out and showed it to me. I asked if it was for a girl, and he swore it wasn't, that it was for me. Why then was he secretively putting it in his backpack?? I'm not ready for this boyfriend/girlfriend business......Although it was a cute picture. If I was 5, I'd be in love with him too!!

Lake Fun

We went to Wolf Lake yesterday and took the boat out. The wind was pretty rough, but it was a beautiful day. There's nothing like a boat ride to clear your head!!

Weekend Fun

We had a great weekend! I picked up John Parker and his BFF John Hollis early from school on Friday and we went to Chick-Fil-A and then home to play before going to Connor's b-day party. It was a great time and so fun to see him with his best friend. They told me all about who was the "nastiest" girl in their class (supposedly because she eats fire ants and grass:)and who was a "cool dude". He's growing up so fast and I love to see how sweet he is with his friends. It's sad that he'll have to leave them to go to St. Anthony next year, but we're excited about that too!! We also went to my parents for our 2nd Easter and the kids hunted eggs and took a peek at the baby birds on top of the porch ceiling fan. They always have a blast at Grammy and Papa's!!
