I am a daughter, wife and mother. My children mean the world to me. I love God; my home; my job; running; volunteering; shopping; and eating good food. God has been good to me and I hope to pass it on!
My parents came over yesterday for a Labor Day cookout and John Bret and my Dad set-up Avery's new big gurl bed. My sweet Dad made it (as his first retirement project). It is absolutely beautiful and Av thinks she is something else. She slept all night and didn't try to get up once!! Thanks Dad!!!
We went over to Joel and Amy Deer's house on Saturday night to watch the MSU Bulldogs battle La Tech. I of course was the lone Ole Miss fan and tried to keep my happiness contained over the Rebs win... (Hotty Toddy). The kids had a great time and you'll notice that there was ONE Ole Miss cookie on the dessert tray--which of course I had to get a pic. Ah, the sweet taste of victory!!!!!
John Parker, who lately has been saying "Stinky Rebels" alot (thanks to his MSU Dad), wanted to wear his "Rebel" jersey today!! Woo hoo!! I was so excited and dressed Avery to match. John Bret was sweet and didn't make too many remarks....heehee......
We made it back from Disney World on Wednesday and had a great time!! John Parker had a blast meeting all of his favorite characters, riding EVERY ride in the place, watching several fireworks shows and staying up late. We plan to go back in a couple of years and take Avery. I'll post a slideshow soon.....
Well, last Thursday was John Parker's first day at school. He loves it so much. He missed the first three days this week because of Disney World, but got right back into it yesterday. He's even had his first "homework". He's growing up so fast!!
Bates Cader had his 4th b-day party yesterday at Pump it Up. The party had a Super Hero theme and John Parker had been excited about it for months. He was all about the Incredible Hulk. They had a blast!
