Happy Birthday Dad!!

We went to my parents' house yesterday to celebrate my Dad's b-day. We had a great time, and of course John Parker had to "help" Papa blow out his candles and open his presents! I hope my health and looks are as good as my parents when I'm in my 60's.....Happy Birthday Dad!!

Fun, Fun

John Bret (bravely) took John Parker and Avery to Mason's b-day party at Pump it Up on Monday. He went down the big slide with Avery at least a dozen times and she loved it. Here they are asleep in the car after getting home (with Avery still clutching her balloon)--and playing around with the "redneck teeth" from their goody bags. Avery didn't quite get the hang of putting them in!!

The Belt Makes the Man

John Parker has wanted a belt for about a week or so. It was all he could talk about. I finally went out and got him one and he wore it all weekend. I think in his mind it makes him grown up. He's already growing up too fast as it is!! Here's my little GQ and the infamous "belt"!

Big Brass Salute

John Bret and I went to the "Big Brass Salute" last night at the MS Museum of Art--basically a big Republican party! It was great to visit with friends and get out for a couple of hours. I decided to post this pic since we have very few pics of just us!
