Back to Cool!

The kids started back to school on Monday.  This is Avery's 1st year at "big school" and she is very excited!  She loves her new teacher and being at St. Anthony with John Parker.  I hope they always feel that way about going to school! 

~Home of the Braves~

We had a great 4th of July Weekend.  Sunday we went to David and Ashley's house for Supper Club.  The kids had a great time playing outside on the water slide.  Sunday, we left or Atlanta to see the Braves play the Rockies.  Despite the rain, it was a great game and the Braves won.  The kids really loved it and didn't want to leave.  John Parker was very excited about his first ride in a taxi.  Baseball, hotdogs and fireworks--all on the 4th of July!!!

Beach Bums

We really enjoyed our trip to Destin this past week.  The weatehr was nice and the water was beautiful!  John Parker could have spent all day looking for crabs and fish.  Avery wanted to stay in the water and sing.  She also made "friends" with whatever children or adults were nearby.  We got to eat at my all-time favorite restaurants--The Back Porch and Dewey Destin's.  I was ready to come home and now I'm ready to go back!!
