Tooth Fairy

John Parker FINALLY lost his first tooth last night. He was so excited and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come. I did talk him into keeping the tooth under his pillow in a ziploc bag so the "tooth fairy" could actually find it. He asked all kinds of questions before he went to sleep like would he be able to feel the tooth fairy or would she come if he was awake. He told me this morning that she must be really small because he didn't feel anything!! (I'll take that as a compliment!!)

I took the kids to Iliana and Aedan's b-day party Saturday at the Natural Science Museum. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast! It's a great place to have a party.....

Spring Break

My Dad has been staying at the house this week with the kids. They've been to Gatti Town, Pizza Inn (twice), played kick ball, baseball, rode the Gator and countless other things. Every time Dad leaves the room Avery says, "Where's Papa?" John Parker told me yesterday that it's been a great day. They have enjoyed themselves so much. On another note, John Parker has two loose teeth and the new ones are already coming in. He asks everyday if it's ready to come out. He's so excited. My Dad mentioned that when he got the Gator, John Parker could barely reach the pedal and now his knees are cramped. He's growing up so fast. He is such a good boy--who wants so much to please and loves to care for his little sister. We are so proud of him!!

Two for Tea

My parents gave Avery a tea set for Christmas and she loves it! Yesterday, John Bret and I kept hearing her go back and forth from the kitchen talking and getting plastic forks out of the drawer. We went to see what she was doing and she had set up her own little tea party. She loves to fill the pot up with water and have "tea" with John Parker and her dolls and stuffed animals. Sweet, sweet girl!

Work-out Queen

Avery came in the living room about 5:10 this morning while I was working out and asked, "what are you doing mama?" I told her exercising and she looked at the TV and laughed. Then she started kicking and jumping around doing the arm movements. She then went and got a wand out of her room and came back like she was the instructor! She is such a hoot! It's so hard to get on to her with that sweet little face........

Valentine's Weekend

We had a really great (full) weekend. Saturday, Avery and I went to Emma Grace's b-day party while JB and JP went to the deer camp. It was great to see Shannon and her parents and Emma Grace is such a cutie! Saturday night, JB grilled out steaks--which were soooo good. Sunday we went to eat with Gumps and Weezie for Gump's 60th b-day and Monday we went to my parents and had a great lunch and shopped for Avery a dress and shoes for Joseph and Jessie's wedding and Easter. (Thanks Mom!!) I am blessed to have such a wonderful husband, children, family and friends!!

Today was John Parker's Valentine's Day Party at school. They had a good time eating chicken nuggets and making ice cream sundaes. And here's Avery enjoying her balloon!!

Super Bowl '09

We had a Super Bowl party last night with some good friends and their children. It was alot of fun, eventhough my team didn't win :(. The kids had a blast playing together and Avery and Anna Veston doing their cheers. And yes, John Parker and I still wore our Giants jerseys!!
